On June 30, 2023, Steven Holl Architects and Newil & Bau celebrated the topping out of Meander Housing in Helsinki, Finland. “The topping out of this 2006 competition-winning design is a special joy to me. Rising out of a bounded inner urban block, the building gradually rises toward the sea horizon, shaping the garden spaces within the block. In spirit it joins the gardens and the sea horizon.” – Steven Holl.
Meander is scheduled to complete in 2024.
