The Youth Wellness Center to be included in Canadian Centre for Architecture’s exhibition Imperfect Health

The Youth Wellness Center will be included in the upcoming exhibition Imperfect Health, which will be on view at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) from October 25, 2011 through April 2012.

Imperfect Health, curated by Giovanna Borasi, Curator of Contemporary Architecture, CCA and Mirko Zardini, Director and Chief Curator at the CCA, explores how architects, urban and landscape designers are critically responding to increasing health concerns in our society today. The research presented will address this contemporary issue from a historical and critical perspective.

The show, which will be presented in the main galleries of the CCA, is accompanied by a publication that examines the relationship between urban form and health. This project is part of a continuing effort of the CCA to critically investigate the premises that lie at the heart of contemporary life, culture, society and architecture.
