To commemorate the 30 year-anniversary of Holl’s first book in his monograph series, Anchoring, which was written on occasion of a major exhibition of Holl’s work at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Steven Holl Architects is assembling 25 signed, limited edition box sets of the complete series: Anchoring (1989), Intertwining (1996), House (2007), Urbanisms (2009), Compression (2019) and Outliers (2019), which are available for purchase.
Each purchase of a box set will provide a resident with a full scholarship to the Summer Architecture Residency, Rural Compression: Cosmic Dust at ‘T’ Space in Rhinebeck, NY. For more information or to order, please visit http://tspacerhinebeck.org/items/steven-holl-monograph-box-set/.
The 23-day intensive studio challenges participants to think and design critically. Residents enjoy theoretical and experimental freedom as they design a center for cosmological observation. By purchasing one of the 25 Box Sets, you can provide a resident with a full scholarship, allowing for 1-on-1 studio instruction, guest critic lectures, field trips to Hudson Valley cultural institutions, housing, and model building supplies. Your donation supports young architects in the beginnings of their careers to develop skills to their fullest extent. You will empower future designers to develop the requisite skills and knowledge for ecology-first architecture.
