Horizontal Skyscraper and Sliced Porosity Block on view at MAXXI

The Horizontal Skyscraper and Sliced Porosity Block are currently on view in the exhibition VERSO EST. Chinese Architectural Landscape at MAXXI in Rome. The show reflects the physiognomy of China’s architectural landscapes from the past decade. VERSO EST intends to underline the role of contemporary Chinese architecture in the international panorama and present architects and artists who developed and matured at the same speed as the processes of national growth, with projects that speak about the primary aspects of Chinese society and the life of the Chinese people.

The exhibition is on view from July 29 – October 23, 2011 and will be accompanied by a publication and the lectures “Defend the Differences,” by architect Wang Shu and “The Turning Point in China’s Architecture,” by the show’s curator Fang Zhenning.
