A week of ONE TWO FIVE

Steven Holl's solo exhibition "ONE TWO FIVE" opened last week during Salone del Milano. On view until June 3, the exhibition is Holl's first at the renowned Galleria Antonia Jannone and contains a collection of original watercolors, design prototypes, 1980s 'A' Chairs.
Holl also created a new sculpture for ONE TWO FIVE. The five piece sculpture sits in two sections (in view in the gallery and courtyard), carved from a material Holl has used in both his large-scale and small-scale work including the new Lewis Arts Complex: "I chose to make it from 21 million year old Lecce stone from a quarry opened by Romans over 2000 years ago."
