The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Named a Finalist for Inaugural MCHAP Prize

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Bloch Building Addition, which opened to the public in 2007, has been named a finalist for the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (MCHAP).

The seven finalists, drawn from a shortlist of 36 projects, were chosen by five jury members – Francisco Lienur, Sarah Whiting, Wiel Arets, Dominique Perrault, and Kenneth Frampton.

The Prize, awarded biennially recognizes the most distinguished architectural works building on the North and South American continents.
